Val d'Orcia has been declared by Unesco a World Heritage Site, for the beauty of its landscape made of green grassy hills, cypress trees and little casali (rural houses) made of stones. An incredible ride through the countryside of Tuscany, far from the crowd of the cities, to Montepulciano for a stroll in this medieval Borgo to admire the artisan's shops and to taste a good glass of the local wine in a Cantina, before to have an unforgettable lunch in a typical restaurant serving Tuscan dishes. Next stop, Pienza with its unique Renaissance Square and medieval structure, famous for its tasty cheese “Pecorino”.
A breathtaking way back to Florence passing through Montalcino, in the Southern part of Tuscany famous for the production of wine. Visit a typical winery, taste some good wine and relax in the green before the return to your hotel.
